The non-Update
| De vez en cuando paso tiempo escribiendo acerca de las cosas de las cuales podría estar escribiendo pero que no lo estoy haciendo, como hoy. Tengo una nota algo larga que comencé hace varios meses y originalmente se iba a llamar "Resultados del segundo trimestre", repasando las cosas más importantes que me ocurrieron en abril, mayo y junio, pero no lo acabé a tiempo, así que luego le agregué julio, y supongo que tendré que agregarle agosto también (aunque ahí no habrá mucho qué decir), y más me vale publicarlo después de eso, porque con varios parientes y amigos visitando en septiembre y octubre, y mi probable partida a Buenos Aires a finales de octubre, probablemente no vaya a escribir mucho esos meses. Y luego están todas las notas musicales que he querido escribir y no lo he hecho. La cosa que sí diré es que este ha sido un muy buen año en lo que a música se refiere, y eso es a pesar de que sólo he escuchado una fracción de la música que ha despertado mi interés. Para muestra: aquí están los CDs que he adquirido (de un modo u otro) y he estado disfrutando desde mayo: | Once in a while I spend time writing about the stuff I could be writing about but ain't, like today. I have a really long post that I started several months ago and was originally going to be called "2nd quarter results", reviewing the more important stuff that happened in my life in April, May and June, but I didn't finish it on time, so I then added July, and I suppose I'll have to add August to it, as well (although there won't be much to say there), and I better post it after that, because with several relatives and friends visiting in September and October, and my probable departure to Buenos Aires in late October, I probably won't be writing a lot. And then there are all the music notes I've wanted to write but haven't gotten around to. The one thing I will say is that this year has been a great year as far as music is concerned, and that's despite the fact that I've only only listened to a fraction of the music I've wanted to check out.
